Last updated 7 September 2026. How Scope Mapping handles the information you send through this website.
Short version: we collect what you send us so we can quote your job, we count visits to this site in a way that cannot identify you, we keep a record of chats with the assistant on this site, and we do not sell or share anything.
What you send us
If you use the enquiry form we receive your name, company, phone number, email address, the site address, whatever you write in the message, and any document you attach. It arrives as an email to Scope Mapping and is used to respond to your enquiry and quote the work. Nothing more.
What we measure
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits, which pages get read, and roughly where visitors come from. It is cookieless and aggregate: it does not set cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites.
We also count how many people tap the phone number, how many tap the email address, how many start the enquiry form and how many send it, so we know whether the website is doing its job. Those are counts, not records of who did it.
There are no advertising trackers on this site and no social media pixels.
The assistant on this site
The chat window in the corner of this site is run for us by Nightshift Lane. It loads from their website, so it is the one thing on this page that comes from somewhere other than here.
What you type into it is sent to Anthropic, who provide the AI model that answers you, and a record of the conversation is kept so we can see what people are asking and answer better. If you give the assistant your name or email address so we can get back to you, that is kept with it. Do not type anything into it you would not put in an email, and use the enquiry form or the phone if you would rather not use it at all. It is not a substitute for either.
Who else sees it
The website is hosted by Vercel, enquiry emails are delivered through Resend, and the assistant is run by Nightshift Lane using Anthropic’s AI models. They all process the data on our behalf in order to run the site. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone else.
Getting it removed
Ask, and we will delete your enquiry, your chat with the assistant, and anything attached to either. Email info@scopemapping.com.au or call us.
If anything on this page stops being true, we change the page. We would rather tell you exactly what happens than publish something reassuring and vague.
